Once your complaint is received, you will be contacted within a reasonable period (generally within 48 hours), and a comprehensive review of the matter will be initiated.
If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you have the right to submit a complaint to the State Bar of California regarding services provided by an attorney licensed in California.
The State Bar of California has independent oversight and disciplinary authority over attorneys' professional conduct and ethical obligations. Submitting such a complaint does not adversely affect the management of your ongoing legal matter.
If your complaint relates not to the quality of service but to alleged violations of professional ethical rules (for example, lack of honesty, conflicts of interest, misuse of funds, or allegations of discriminatory treatment), such matters fall within the jurisdiction of the State Bar of California.
The State Bar independently reviews such complaints and may initiate disciplinary proceedings if deemed necessary.
As attorneys, we are obliged to provide our services in accordance with a reasonable standard of care and professional competence. If this standard is breached and direct harm results, it may be possible to pursue legal remedies.
