Our client’s research addresses a central challenge in neurosurgery: reaching and treating diseased tissue while preserving the delicate structures around it. After earning his medical degree at Istanbul University’s Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine, he gained experience in emergency care and primary care before undertaking neurosurgical residency training. He subsequently joined the Barrow Neurological Institute in Arizona as a postdoctoral researcher, focusing on advanced imaging and surgical approaches for complex brain and spinal conditions.
Our firm developed his EB-2 NIW petition around a defined research agenda to refine minimally invasive techniques and improve the management of neurosurgical emergencies. We highlighted his work involving high-resolution MRI, neuronavigation, and confocal laser endomicroscopy, which enables detailed imaging of tissue during surgery. That practical connection between imaging research and the preservation of patient function was central to the story presented in his petition.
