Our client is a radiologist and cardiothoracic imaging specialist whose EB-2 National Interest Waiver petition was previously approved based on his work in advanced diagnostic imaging, interstitial lung disease, prostate MRI, and AI-assisted diagnostics.
Following the approval of his Form I-140 petition, he proceeded with the adjustment of status stage of the permanent residence process. While his Form I-485 application remained pending, our firm also prepared and submitted Form I-131 to request Advance Parole.
USCIS approved the Advance Parole application, providing our client with travel authorization during the pendency of his adjustment of status case. The approval marked another step in his progression from an approved EB-2 NIW petition toward lawful permanent residence in the United States.
